The city centre and its preserved city walls are best to be discovered by foot or by bike. Walk or cycle on these walls to enjoy the best view of the city. Lucca hosts numerous churches, some of which are the Duomo di San Martino, Palazzo Pfanner, Piazza Napoleone, Museo della Cattedrale and De Chiesa San Giovanni where real trees grow on top. The Piazza dell’Anfiteatro is the best place for a drink or ‘gelato.’
